As you all know PS4 releases earlier than X1 and rumours say that more units will be available. Also, PS4 is cheaper and releasing in more markets than X1. On the other hand, PS4 will release after X1 in Europe and NA is supposedly MS's stronghold.

So what do you think? Will X1, at any point, be ahead of PS4 in WW sales? I think that if it doesn't do it on launch week it will never surpass PS4 LT sales.

Schedule:

Nov. 15 - PS4 release in NA.

Nov. 22 - X1 release in NA + 7 EU countries.

Nov. 29 - PS4 release in EU, BF week.

Hmmm are we talking about lifetime sales? if so then no. Actually my answer is no to any sort of time period. PS4 will probably always be ahead.

They only way I see it being possible is if Halo 5 came out in 2014, even then it might not.  

It'll be close. I kinda think XBONE will overtake it for a few days before the launch of PS4 in Europe.

Xbox has never outsold PS in LT for either previous consoles. Why would Xbox One be different

The only way i see this as possible is for the last week of november WW. Sony has the half launch on the 15th, if the full xbox launch can pass that number, thatll be the only time, cause when the PS4 releases in europe as well, itll pass it and keep it for good

Sure....anything can happen. Some people act as if Sony can't screw up or something at any point in time. Me personally, will wait at least another three years before jumping to next gen as the early adopters ALWAYS get screwed.

This. And don't forget Microsoft has to all but concede Japan.  Microsoft's job is just to keep it competitive.

They've never been # 1 except for in the US that that was only this gen and because the PS3 was overpriced for most of it time on retail until 2009.

Had the PS3 been reasonably priced from the start, that might have not have even happened.

Small chances, 7 EU countries is not that much, generally ppl everywhere(USA and UK too, yea, to ppl who always thought that x1 would win at least there easily) interested in ps4 much more, much more pre-orders, so, NO.

I just hope we would get full data in time.

With all the pre-orders, ps4 sales in NA, before X1 release, should be no less than a million.
