It's to bad you can't be one of them. Oh well, you can always watch the trailers.

Than be prepared to be shocked, Sonic Colours never left the Wii, as did MadWorld ( even developed by Platinum too)
I would be shocked if it would leave the WiiU knowing about Nintendo GameCube exclusives that never resurfaced on anything besides Nintendo (Resident Evil Remake, Zero, Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes etc.)
spurgeonryan said: So even if the demo isn’t true 1080p, Platinum and Nintendo could have easily bumped it up to that resolution by now.
Love when people talk about resolution and framerate like it is just checking a box in the options.

I suggest they go with 720p 60fps and TressFX hair simulation. You hear me, KAMIYA?!? Make it happen. Talk with the fur guys at Retro for some pointers.
Anyways, I have seen it run at 60fps, and it looks incredibly sharp. For people whom have only seen youtube vids of Bayonetta 2 in action, i can tell you that you have no idea how good it really looks.

Those latter games had exclusive deals tied to them from the start and there's been no word whether this has one attached too, so I’d guess it doesn’t. And those other titles never left the Wii because...well...there just wasn't that much of a following for them. I somehow just don't see people clamoring for Sonic Colors and Mad World to grace their systems, so there's really no reason for them to port those.
Plus for each exclusive that you named that didn't leave the platform, there have been several major ones that have (RE4 anyone?), so really, it's a coin flip.
I say it will eventually for one simple reason: Because of the lack of success of the Wii U. If they don't port it, they're flat out leaving money on the table, and if you think they're going to risk closing their doors as a studio just to remain loyal to one company, then you’ve got another thing coming.
If it does stay exclusive though, it’ll be that way only because they couldn’t afford to port it to the other consoles, not because they don't want to spite Ninty. It's just too costly these days for their to be true 100% third party exclusives which is why they're so rare.

Thanks but no thanks, I'll take your word for it. Now I'm going off to the others and hype Bayonetta 2 to its release.

the difference between something like Bayonetta 2 and RE4 is that Nintendo paid for 100% of the games' development, and i think they pretty much "own" the Bayonetta 2 name, kinda like how they own the MGS: Twin Snakes' rights because they paid for the game development.
Pavolink said: I thought it was 720p60fps. Anyway, good to know. So, for now this is how it rols: WWHD - 1080p30fps SM3DWorld - 720p60fps (?) DKCR TF - 720p60fps (?) Bayonetta 2 - 1080p60fps Mario Kart 8 - 720p60fps SSB - 1080p60fps If I should guess, Zelda U will be 720p30fps or at best 1080p30fps
WW HD is 60 fps.....

Panama said: Why is it that surprising. It ran at 60fps 720 on 360. Graphically it doesn't look much different from the first so I could definitely see it being 1080p 60fps on the Wii U.
It looks considerably better. The lighting, visual effects, and environmental scale and detail are all noticeably upgraded over the first game.

Just seeing this makes me think the Wii U can run 1080p at 60fps with little to no problems.
