What a delusional bunch in here. Sony didn´t care you say. Why exactly do you think they entered the console space in the first place and then in the handheld market. In this gen Sony pretty much played always the catch up game with the ridiculous Wii mote clone named Move and WiiClone Sports Championship. also the several Mario Kart clones like Modnation racers and Little Big Planet Kart and the Smash Bros clone calles Playstation Allstars which failed miserably. The same with Microsoft that in recent years focused on motion controlled games with Kinect and the Mii clones called Avatar.

Most recently Sonys desperate attempt in trying to fill the gap with Monster Hunter now on Nintendo systems with severals Monster Hunter clones makes clear how in denial some actually are.

they are the most recent numbers. saying sony is the biggest because of ps and ps2 is the same as saying nintendo is the biggest because of nes and snes.

in the past gen, ds beat psp and wii beat ps3. now 3ds is beating vita and we are yet to see wii u vs ps4.

So do it even more interesting... just "current gen"

wiiU+3DS = 34M psvita+ps4= 5M...

And what I done was much more "actual" data, I put the sales of the week and even though ps have 3 plats on it an ninty have 4, sony still won... admit you want to use the most favorable data you can, one where ninty would be selling more in each direct confront so you fell better. Saying that putting PS2 isn't a nice way to look because it isn't current is the same using data for Wii vs PS3 from 2008 and not 2013.

If those are the most recent numbers why the exclusion of the Wii U? Oh, that's right... it doesn't conform to your agenda of cherry picking numbers for Nintendo

first of all by compitition he was reffering to microsoft and microsoft only because the interviewer asked specifically about microsoft and the xbox. so he was answering a question about competing with microsoft. 

second of all this comparision started when talking about the PS4. so the inclusion of handhelds here is done so you can scew your numbers. fact you started this whole nonesense by bringing up the WiiU. this is about home consoles, not handhelds, the fact that you brought them in shows that you have no legs to stand on.

The fact is that ever since Sony entered the home console market they have been handing nintendo their ass to them, with the only expection are 4 years from 2006- 2010 when the Wii outsold the PS3. This year will mark the 3rd year the PS3 will outsell the Wii, infact the PS3 will outsell the Wii+WiiU combined this year, and the WiiU would be lucky to be able to sell the 5.2 million units the PS3 sold so far. The more interesting fact is that the PS4 has managed to stack up more pre-orders since E3 (when pre-orders opened) then the WiiU has managed to sell in the same timeframe. your claim of "biggest in the industry" applies to home consoles since it was you who originally brought up the WiiU. the handheld sales mean squat shit when it comes to the PS4, you are the one who brought this comparision up, stick with it, but you wont as it is very clear that nintendo are actually the smallest of the big 3 right now when it comes to home console sales. 

you have been spinning in turning in this entire thread, you are the one who brought up the WiiU because you feelings felt upset that Jack tretton didnt mention them when he was infact asked about the compitition against microsoft. when you realized that the WiiU was making you lose your silly argument that you brought up for no other reason than attention was failing you, you brought up Wii, DS and 3DS sales, which bring nothing to this conversation. 

the subject this thread is about is the holiday seasons sales of home consoles THIS year, can you stick to it? can you? i want an answer to this question. 

do we have ps4/xone numbers to compare wii u with? no? if you have nothing useful to say, you shouldn't bother others.

You are obviously refering to me about the same users being in reports and if thats the case then Zero needs to grow thicker skin when he gets called out
