The problem is that the fifth movie was really really bad in my opinion. I guess I should give the rest of the movies a try... but I lost all interest in Harry Potter. I really liked the first four though.

Hmm I disagree with that, I think the 5th film was way better than the 6th. HBP felt like watching 90210 with all the stupid relationship crap. The book had that too but there were much more important plotlines weaved in.

This isn't a new "Harry Potter" movie... it is just set in the same universe.

Cautiously excited about this one. Will observe closely.

Harry Potter is the name of the series. So by setting in the same universe it's a Harry Potter movie. Even if it doesn't star the character. 

Well at least Rowling is the one writing the screenplay so it won't be another person screwing with the potter universe.  I think that's the most exciting thing for me.
