Don't know if someone said this I didn't read all the post but ,
SSBB has a .78 lead in Japan meaning that SSBB only has to sale 1.5 in NA and in Others to be tired. (Well 1.6 in one of them). So the Japanese difference might be what helps. Think if it does 2mil in NA then all it has to sale is 1mil in Other I think it can do it.

you are correct. brawl would have sold at least 1 million in Japan first week had there been supply
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
Halo 3 first week: 3.8 million
SSB:B first week: 3.1 million
that's my prediction, but it would seriously shock me if SSB:B can outsell Halo 3 first week.
