The DSlite was targeted at everyone as it was seen as an improved model, it was noticably smaller, sexier, cheaper and had a better screen. Haven't we all agreed that the only market buying into into the heavily botched 2DS which is uglier, less functionally and arguably bigger, are parents who are either tight or afraid of the 3D turning their kids blind?

Even Reggie stated this is aimed at a very specific market, unlike the DSlite or even the ps2 slim.

I really do not think the 2DS will have more sales than Vita. 3DS is a whole 'nother ballgame tho!

I'm saying more limited with respect to the DS lite, which is completely true. This is meant for the younger audience. The DS lite was clearly meant for anyone with an interest in the handheld, young and old.

The 2DS was designed to fill in a gap that the 3DS and 3DS XL could not fill themselves. You're tellling me that the DS lite was designed with that same regard as well? And the 2DS is clearly a downgrade compared to 3DS and XL. The older audience will unsurprisingly look at each product when deciding on which model to get and say to themselves "Clearly the better product is the XL, I'm going to put in the extra cash to get my money's worth." You don't have that with 7 year olds and under. They just want to play Pokemon and play it now. Even Nintendo said it themselves!

If I was going to look at the normal patterns of responses (i haven't read any on this thread yet). I would say that a large chunk will think that the PS4 will sell the most. I would think that something that is kinda new and selling for half the price of the PS4 during a holiday period where the PS4 is probably supply constrained would outsell the PS4 by a large margin. It will depend on who has a higher production run.

There will be a shortage of PS4s so, yes. Also, the PS4 will only have 1 month on the market.

That isn't even what I said.  I said I do not agree with "2DS being more limited" because the audience in itself that it targets is huge.  The DS lite also doesn't target everyone.  That was all I was saying.
