Forums - Sales - Worldwide Wii stocks discussion

Everybody knows how hard it is to find a Wii wherever you live. But Wii shipments seem to increase and I would like to know what the Wii avaibility is in your Town.

Let's everybody regulary put the Wii avaibility situation in his town in this thread:

I am from France: Some big shipments were send to stores last weeks as the Wii is still available in some supermarkets. However most stores are sold out. amazon.fr (french amazon) had a shipment but sold out in 2 days. Accoding to a micromania salesman (equivalent to ebgames in the US) Wii shipments are much better but still can not respond to demand.

What is the Wii situation in your town ?

Los Angeles: Nowhere to be found, I'm happy I got mine a long time ago...

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

I'm not sure about my town, but I know that Amazon.co.uk seems to be getting regular stock at the moment. I get an email when it is back in stock, I had 3 emails two days ago but they sold out pretty quickly. There has definately been an upturn in stock level in the UK generally because I even got an email from pcworld.co.uk saying they had stock - the first one from them since its launch. Sadly they are selling them as bundles, but they still have stock left. I just noticed that amazon.co.uk are saying it is out of stock, but they are selling it on their marketplace (Fulfilled by themselves for £179.99. Strange.

At my home town availability is 0%. Even for Wii games. And DS has same availability than Wii. There's no store that sells Nintendo stuff. Ok, but the local area, that i go shopping, i have seen 1 Wii this week in five stores, that i know to sell Wii. And last week i saw 2 Wiis in a different store. And this is in the capital region in Finland.

Ei Kiinasti.

Eikä Japanisti.

Vaan pannaan jalalla koreasti.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

In may shipment should increase even more according to Nintendo, report here if you feel it's true

In my country (Spain )there are Wiis in every store .Lots of them .And nobody seems to be very interested ,you see one day and see say 8 boxes and the next day the same 8 boxes are there ,one day later there is 1 box less etc

The are a few Wii's in Oslo And It is useally gone your best bet is to go to very small stores.

My dog is way beyond my ranking list than you.

Haven't been there in the last 2 weeks (when supply was supposed to have increased), but here is the story from the Nintendo store in Rockefeller Center in NYC.

The store opens at 9am each day. They receive ~ 100 Wii's every day.

The line starts forming at 7am each day.

All Wii's are gone by 9:15. This has been the daily routine for about 2 months.

Again, this is the situation as of 2 weeks ago. I'll try to stop by next week for the current status.

So everywhere it's sold out in the world except in Spain.  I know you're pro Sony Playstation, so I guess we all just have to believe you then, ey.

I have no idea about my town. All I know is that on all online stores within the Netherlands it says not available, sold out, delivery period of more then 5 weeks, etc.etc.

Here a few online stores:

Levertijd = delivery time > 5 weken (= over 5 weeks)

So it's Helsinki hoarding almost all the Wii that make it to Finland. :p

In here almost middle Finland they aren't even that "common". ;)

Nothing's cheaper than something free.

F1 vs FOTA, when too much power is in couple peoples hands.
