Totally agree. Local co-op and multiplayer are becoming endangered species, at least outside of Nintendo systems.

Good to see it brought back with this remake/anthology, especially because TimeSplitters 2 is one of the best local multiplayers shooters ever made.

Still wish we could get a proper TimeSplitters 4...

I don't agree!  Lots of games featured couch co-op this gen.  From Keflings to Gears of War to Halo to Hunted to Resident Evil 5/6 and Perfect Dark Zero.  I've had a great time playing local co-op!  You just gotta know where to look, I guess.

Um i own a PS3 and dont like shooters, none of those games would appeal to me. No idea what Keflings is though.

Oh, thought you liked shooters since Timesplitters and Call of Duty are.....well, you already clarified.  Anyway, World of Keflings is just this game where you're a giant building a city for a bunch of tiny people.  It's crazy addictive.  I'm a mostly 360 guy but I have a PS3, too. 

You and some other guy (he said he only buys Nintendo consoles because they're the only ones with local multi-player) inspired a thread, btw.

I'm happy with this still making this for Ps4 and not porting to Xbox One due to cross-platform play makes no sense, also not porting it to WiiU makes even less sense.
