its at 5.6 or 5.7mil now so it needs 14.3mil, seems impossible. 3 month of sales left +japan sales for Sept MH4 release! 2DS might help, its a gamble. If nintendo advertises the **** out of 2ds in US i can easily see US 10mil 3DS to 15mil Sales!

5.8 million. Which, depressingly, makes it this year's leading hardware by a wide margin.

14 million systems moved in 4 months would be remarkable.
