Forums - Gaming - So Does Anyone Know Who Bought Atlus?

I haven't seen any threads about them recently and I didn't see anyone saying who bought them, so I was wondering what happened to them?  I remember hearing about different companies bidding on them a couple weeks ago, but that's about it.

Hopefully not Sega.

I've been wondering the same thing. We might not hear about until mid Septemeber. So we'll have to be patient. All the discounted games are a bit suspicious though. Lol.

No one knows, bidding is still going on. Only confirmed higher bidders are J Trust and Sega. We'll probably know at the end of september

Especially after today's yakuza news. All Atlus' coolness will go zip...

Yup.

No VC3. No PSO2. No Y5.

We do get Project Diva F, but that will probably be the last we see of it due to a "small fanbase". Gee I wonder why.

I think Atlus should buy Sega.

I just want them to go to a company that will let them operate freely ):

No PSO2 is total ballsacks. I mean, the original (well, Ep I & II) singlehandedly created online gaming on the GameCube (!). If the franchise has that degree of appeal, surely the sequel can get some traction over here.

What happened with Yakuza?
