I never played any Total War game very much. Sadly I didn't get into them. Honestly the learning curve of the combat segment was too steap lol. I was lazy. I always got the feeling that my armies never followed my commands. It didn't feel responsive like Age of Empires or any other ordinary RTS game. That frustrated me so I never had the patience to try and figure out what I did wrong.

I will possibly give Rome 2 a chance.

Rome Total War will always be the best.

playing medieval 2 right now to get back into the mood, I just realized a couple days ago all you need to do to win on vh/vh (vanilla) is to be always at war and not build any building except level 1 roads and farms

one of my favourite gaming franchises.

I love the gameplay in this franchise. I don't have the time for Rome II unfortunately. I'll work on an oil rig for three months in the middle of the desert!
Hopefully, I'll get this at 50% discount on holidays Steam sales.

I'm just worried about everyone complaining about it on the forums, thought they are MOSTLY technical bugs, there are a few complaints about the actual game. But I am still looking forward to getting home and playing it
