Im Luigi a video game character created by Japanese game designer Shigeru Miyamoto, and is portrayed as the younger brother of Nintendo's official mascot, Mario.I first appeared in the arcade game Mario Bros., where I featured as the main character alongside Mario. Since his my debut has appeared in many games throughout the Mario series, often accompanying Mario as the central protagonist, but at times starring as the main character of his own games.

While I was originally created as a character identical to Mario except for being colored green instead of red, his rise in prominence throughout the Mario series lead to the adoption of a personality and style of his own. My voice is performed by Charles Martinet, the same actor who provides the voice for Mario, as well as other characters throughout the franchise
