It's flaming/ trolling. Because the comment serves no other purpose than to insult the product that hasn't even come out yet. Also, it's just ludicrous to say that someone will only play the Xbox One once and then never again. It's a ridiculous thing to say.

Trolling is just a blanket term used for comments moderators disagree with nodays on VGChartz.

It was a non-offensive joke that if you don't like you can just move on.

Right... Problem is, the sole purpose of the comment that got you the ban was to insult the product and thus the people who were looking forward to it.  This forum is supposed to be fun, not filled with senseless trash talk that serves absolutely no purpose.  By banning you for five days, you were made an example of by the mod team, and hopefully you're less likely to post such a silly thing in the future.  That is the hope, anyway.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

You got to make 10 to 15 thousand posts and be an old member to get away with trolling. Till then just post lol's instead of trolol's. Study the habits of master trolls of this and other sites too in the meantime.

Please direct any complaints to the mod head Axumblade or if you'd like to make a complaint on the forums about a moderation please do so in the official moderation threads that pop up each month.

This is not the proper way to disagree with a moderation and will thus be locked.

...

Good lord VGChartz has got nitpicky over the years. I would say 5 plus years ago that would not have got you banned on here.  All in all, just let it go.  It's a video game forum.  You were banned for only 5 days.  Life will most likely go on.

Sounds well deserved to me, the reason VGChartz is so much better than other gaming forums is because bashing is not tolerated.

You can clearly tell that the joke was not serious by its exageration. And insulting a console now counts as insulting the people who use the console? Better tell VGCHartz to stop reviewing games as bad reviews may insult the people who buy that game.

This is the Game of Thrones

Where you either win

or you DIE

This forum really allows a lot of leeway on opinion, even if it's brainless, but you have to at least make the effort to prove that you have a reason for that opinion as opposed to just gushing dogma or flamebait.

As far as humor goes, perhaps you were just kidding, but there is nothing to separate what you said from what a fanboy or troll might say in order to cause an argument. You have to indicate it's a joke.

Or! You're wrong and the mod(s) were right.  I know almost every person on this planet thinks they're right and everyone else is wrong or don't get them, but at least try to be a bit objective about it and look at the comments so far. We all agree that that was ban worthy. It seems that you were trolling. Yes, some people would get away with it, but most wouldn't.

Edit: also keep in mind that criticizing the mods is ban worthy and so is this thread. Hopefully, since you seem to be unaware of it, they'll let this one go.

So this is what we're calling a "joke" now? This was horrid
