Forums - Nintendo - Lego City undercover Wii U bundle october 18th.

Seems really bizarre to bundle this so late after it launched, and especially when they already have a special bundle with Zelda WW HD.

Feels like Nintendo is A) getting desperate and B) giving up all hope of attracting anyone other than little kids (who can't get GTAV but can play this) (and of course Nintendo faithful with the Zelda bundle)

Welcome Shortiloe.

And that's a limited edition SKU fail. There's no way to attach Lego bricks to that Wii U.

Thanks, famousringo! :)

Mh, I think, with the Wind Waker Bundle, they want their Zelda-Fans to buy, Lego-Bundle is more for Kids, and Lego is great for them. Yes, it's late, but I think it's a good move, to offer more different Bundles. :)

Hi Shortiloe!
Thanks for posting the image.

I think a bundle like this comes at the perfect time: holiday season!
Btw, the pack includes a free 7 day trial of Wii U Karaoke.

I think its just because its a quality game that is relatively popular and has already made back its money so it doesnt really cause the system to be sold at a greater loss.

It is a good bundle for christmast, and if they market it right it could end up being a very good bundle.

Good.
It's easily the system's most appealing non-Nintendo game, and parents shopping for their kids will like the look of a nice child-friendly LEGO game, so it could do alright.
Hopefully all this bundling in conjunction with the price cut, Nintendo's usual holiday boost, and new software like Wind Waker HD, Mario 3D World, Sonic Lost World, and Donkey Kong Country can spur Wii U sales. Go Wii U, go.

Thats a very good point about parents.

The price point will be about right for parents as compared to 400 and 500 with more charges for online.

Software will be a big boost too. I just hope more people will support new IP's after constantly begging for them.

Great game, but the bundle is a bit too late sadly.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

It's a really fun game, I don't think it's too late though
