I would rather get a Vita LOL
This actually makes me want an XL more than I did before.
I think one of my cousins is in that 7-8 age range so she might wind up with one of these.

It is only one screen, though. The top screen is covered in plastic but is actually a touchscreen, and the stuff in the middle is just to define the screens. Rip it off and you'd see.

No, not really. I was gonna post to the one you quoted, but aside from that, I thought it was pretty interesting.

Not willing to break apart my 3DS', but aren't the (2) screens different sizes? How could they be (1) screen?
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Hey, I dunno how it works, but here's my proof:

Looks hideous to me, but then again, it's not designed FOR me.. It's designed for little kids. Nintendo is making that quite obvious. And I can't hate them for trying to expand their market. God knows they need to as much as possible. I think it'll do well amongst the little kids demographic. Granted, I don't think they necessarily need to change the whole design. Hell, if they stuck with the original folded design, I might have actually gotten one myself. But I don't think the market Nintendo is going for generally cares about the fold-up designs anyway.
But no need to hate on them.. Because if you are a more "hardcore" type Nintendo has a machine for you too, it's called the 3DS XL, which I already own, and it's solid.. You can also find it relatively cheap on amazon. (I got it brand new preloaded with Mario Kart for only $220).
According to most people here, since I want one, I most be a kid.
Anyway, if I hadn't bought a 3DS a couple of months ago I would have definitely bought this. For one I never use 3D and second I never take my 3DS out of the house, so the 2DS fits my style perfectly. Plus it's only $130.

No, I'll get an XL this holiday, or expect to.
