but exclusives softwares for 2DS would go against 3DS and 2DS capability proposed by nintendo.

Also would be only one screen, so 2DS isnt the better name. 2D-SS(single screen) would be a strange name.

If Nintendo is going to make a single screen handheld, then it's going to be their next handheld console, not an iteration of the 3DS line.
