No, there are groups in this great country that would help you if you needed it. You will always get catastrophic medical care if you need it as it currently stands. Universal Health Care will only further bankrupt our country. What needs to happen is to deregulate the Medical Market as it currently stands. It is highly regulated and controlled by the government. There will need to be a safety check of some kind, but what we have now is definitely not a free-market.

There are free-market solutions to the "Health Care Crisis" in America. We cannot achieve them until the government gets its hands off the market. Americans will take care of themselves largely, and there should be some safety net for those who at the time cannot afford to pay for it. For starters we need to move away from insurance companies and towards pay as you go.
A nurse-in-a-box, would work for many if not most people who would go see a doctor. There will always be a demand for doctors, but sadly today doctors are leaving medicine because they cannot make enough money. This is because of the high level of regulations and hoops they must jump through.
The second thing that needs to be fixed is deregulate the insurance companies. Do not force me to buy insurance I do not want to buy. I cannot get pregnant so why should I be forced to purchase coverage for that? I will not be taking drugs anytime soon so why should I be forced to purchase drug rehab coverage? I shouldn't be.
These things and many more would reduce the cost of Health Insurance and would go a very long way to help every American citizen more than some over priced under-developed idea of Government run health care.

Vaio you simply are not getting what I am saying. Those priests are not following Christ's teachings. Christ said that if you were to harm a child, it would be better for you that a millstone be hung around your neck and you be cast into the sea. Those priests do not speak for Christianity, they speak for hedonism and debauchery.

Rath, torture is another topic. But since you brought it up, This torture is not done in the name of God. It is done to protect American lives and sovereignty. The fact that Churches have not spoken out against torture, and some of them have, is simply put stepping in a political pile of poo. Firstly since America does not torture as a rule, for them to stand up and decry torture is either foolish, or giving away a state secret.

Besides which, we all agree that torture is not allowed under the Geneva Conventions right? Are these terrorists covered by those rules? Nope, they would be classified as saboteurs and therefore have no rights conferred upon them. They do not represent any specific state, nor do they wear uniforms from any state.

That is very convinient of you to say that those that don´t do good or make a misstake on the way do not follow the word of God and those that do good do it because they follow the word of God.

Is the priest of 45+yrs preaching less of a priest because he used young children?

Did he not speak the words of God during the ceremonies during all those years?

Did he not read from the book of good for his members during theese years?

Did not his parrishoners (not sure how it spells) belive in him as a spokesperson for GOD?

If he is not following the teaching of Christ doesn´t that imply that the followers of this priest doesn´t either follow the teachings of Christ?

Jesus was not a socialist. The person who fed you that crap was a socialist himself. Jesus was all about personal responsibility and helping others locally through relationships. He never did nor would he ever advocate a government to step in where the role of fellow people should be. Socialism takes personal responsibility away from the person living under it.

They don´t have rights cause America doesn´t acknowledge them and that´s why the prisons aren´t in America so you don´t get sued for a fitlhy action like that is.

The torture is done in the name of christianity as Bush has several times said it´s a religious war between christians and muslims and every time he talks about this war he always says may God help us.
