Yes! Now the system is much better for me. Now if I can get a 2D mario with my system or pikmin 3, with retail not digitally. I will be happy to get it this holiday.

There's is no excuse to not sell well this time around, if this doesn't help, Nintendo will be in serious trouble.

I doubt they would do a second price cut so soon. I think releasing a $299 Mario Kart 8 bundle is possible tho.

Great, but does this mean they will lose more on each console sold now? or have they started making money on them now?

Depends on how their sales are this Christmas.
I think $250 is the price they actually want but can't do it now because it would interfere with this fiscal year and the profit they need to make off the 3DS.
7-8 months in between price cuts isn't so bad.
I think a tablet free Wii U (bundled with NSMBU or Zelda) at some point next year is a very real possibility now as well with the 2DS paving the way.

Idk if Nintendo is indeed planning a Handheld/Console hybrid then I dont see why they would make a Gamepad free Wii U.

That type of hybrid device is probably a few years away yet. 3DS has a few more prime years and I think they will push the Wii U for a couple more years the best way they know how even if internally it's a dissapointment in their eyes.
I think in a lot of ways this is pretty much the GBA-GCN generation for them again, just with lower profit margins, they will need a couple of years I think to really digest what's happened.
They have obviously decided that it's worth eating money in the short term to spur sales. They know the PS4 has a lot of perceived momentum after E3. They know the Wii U's sales need to pick up to stay viable. They are doing what they have to do. And with this price drop, and that bundle, I think my prediction of 6 million Wii U units sold by the end of Dec. 2013 is now safe.

Black Friday 2014 I'm hoping for $250 with a great game (Mario Kart, Smash, or SM3DW)

Im sure u will be able to find a comparable deal this black friday. The Nintendo Land and Wind Waker bundles could easily be $250 and $300 with an additional game.
Wii U+Nintendo Land+Wii Party U-$299
OR Wii U+Wind Waker+Pikmin 3-$299
Or Wii U+NSMBU+Mario 3D World-$299
Theres a bundle that appeals to casuals, one for core gamers and one that appeals to both.
