For the first time in a while, Nintendo is gonig to be at the Tokyo Game Show. I can still remember back in 2005 When Iwata showed the Wii remote for the fist time and blew up the internet. I was personally shocked and pumped for this new system after having skipped the Gamecube. I can remember the hype begining to build until Wii was released to mass excitement.
So this year they are gonig back, and my question is why? What are they going to show? Most people seem to feel that Nintendo's e3 was at best solid and at worse forgettable. Could Iwata be dropping some bombs? Will we see the "new IP ideas that others would steal"? Could we see Zelda U? A Capcom project? Will it be a big deal and turn around the Wii U's fortune?
I could be jinxing it, but for some reason I think Nintendo might show some things that will create a lot of buzz. With Sony mostly ingnoring Japan so far with the launch of the PS4, Nintendo may see an opportunity to pounce and grab ahold of the area they already dominate with 3DS. What do you think?
