I already stopped buying EA games since Dead Space 2. Now, it's even clearer to me to never buy any new game they release.

I think he meant they don't create games that are completely offline. Hence, all their games have online features.
As long as the games function offline, there is nothing to piss and moan about.

Nice assumption there, bud. Actually I do. I know what he's saying, and I'm pretty sure I know the real reasons behind it. Having an online component is their own form of DRM. There's really nothing wrong with protecting your own IP, but just come out and say it.
