The first one sold like 2.7 and the second one 1.6 million combined... they were fun popcorn shooters.. i think people expected more then 0.24..

I had no idea 40th day was 1.6,  yeah I played both games, they were fine bargin bin purchases for me as will Devils cartel.

I always felt it sold as well as it did because of the relative freshness of its approach and use of mecha vs bugs vs evil mecha.

The game was pretty good at the time, yes, but you know how it is with games near launch.  People buy games they  normally wouldn't because of a lack of choices.  LP benefited from that a lot.

Capcom is a below average developer (some exceptions are there) nodays. Ducktales, remember me and lost planet just reminds that they are not what they used to be in past. Whay didnt they just cancelled lost planet 3?

Well its definitly bombing more than DMC and Dead space 3 cause those actually sold decently.

I would say more like remember me and asura's wrath.

Its not a bad game from what i say, but it doesnt have that shine to it that the other entries had. Probably because the others were using the MT framework and this one isnt.

I'm still unsure why Capcom handed Lost Planet over to Spark Unlimited, the developers of Turning Point and Legendary of all games. They're even having a hand in the development of the Ninja Gaiden Z game. Eastern publishers, a word of caution - if you're going to hand your series over to a western developer, make sure it's a good one.

Lost Planet 3 never really interested me, despite having played the previous Lost Planet game.
