Something like this would work well for a Nintendo ad. They could show a kid playing Nes back in the 80's, show the evolution of Nintendo via montage, and finally end with the same guy playing Wii U with his kids. Add a little comment at the end like "Then, now, and forever--Nintendo. Thank you for playing with power."

Someone should really pitch that to Nintendo. They're one of the oldest constants in gaming so it'd work really well.
Sony graphics where always the worst of each gen until recently. It makes it seem like a longer way than it should.

the crash bandicoot games and gran turismo 2. were some of the best if not the best looking games in the genres during the ps1 era.
also Gran Turismo 4 and God of war II were some of the best looking during the PS2 era.
then you of course have Uncharted 2, 3, Killzone 2, 3, God of War III, Assension, The Last of Us, etc that set graphical benchmarks for their respective genres.

naw bro. crash and gt2 were good for that system but not for that generation. N64 man... c'mon! World Driver Championship is better looking that gt2. Crash? it's linear and it's still not better looking than n64 games. Face it.. ps1 had the worst graphics. It's not even up for discussion.
GT 4 had nothing on Forza Motorsport.. nada! And God of War II is just laughable compared to NINJA GAIDEN. PS2 had really good games and support that pushed it's hardware limits... but it's still worst of gen.
ps3 is a tie with 360. ps4 is a tie with ONE.
