I will simply say that whatever decision you make (all of you) be it PC, Wii U, PS4, Xbox One you are happy with.

I decided on the PS4 and it that decision was purely game related.

When I look at the Next Gen games, Infamous Second Son looks the best. It seems imo based on what we've seen so far, what Next Gen by definition is supposed to mean. Not stating this as fact, just opinion. And everyone will have a game that they say is that. For some it's Infamous, some it's Forza.

Titan Fall... I don't care about. I am tired of Call Of Duty and shooters in general. Titan Fall is just another shooter imo. If you like it, I hope it's everything you want it to be. I can play it on PC, but I won't be. I am shooter'ed out.

BF4 same thing. All my console friends are ZOMG 64 player!!! I got BF3 on PC and it's really good. But I ain't paying $60 for the same experience. Though if you haven't played 64 player BF, you should it's a lot of fun.

Call Of Duty... Nope. And it's too late no matter what for me.

Only shooter I will get is Killzone Shadow Fall. I like the Killzone story and want to see the next chapter. Halo used to do that same thing for me. But now Halo is like Resident Evil for me. The past was good but the last few were poop imo.

When Dice finishes Star Wars Battlefront, I am in lol. But that is the extent of my shooter intent lol

Dead Rising 3 is a no go as well. The first 2 were worthy of a weekend rent tops.

Octodad is one I am very interested in surprisingly. My wife wants to play it and she never plays games lol

All in all Xbox One offers me nothing I can't get on Playstation while Playstation offers me something I can't get on Xbox One. So my decision was simple. If your opinion differs from mine, your decision most likely does as well.

I guess what I am saying is I am happy with my decision and hope you are happy with yours, whatever it may be. I will not bash you for it. I ain't doing the console wars anymore. If you like Forza and want to trash GT, go ahead. I like GT and your opinion is just your opinion.

I am just tired of everyone acting like Jehova's Witnesses, knocking on the virtual doors spreading the good news about your console of choice. Though I am more than happy to talk about gaming, And I hope whatever you decide is good for you

Lol at people who think ps4 will be easier to make games for than the xbox one. Xbox has better development tools as has been stated already.

I get the feeling that shooters will not be nearly as big this coming generation as it has been on the current one. It´s as if all these genres go through phases, where one is popular for e period of time, only to be replaced by another genre a few years later. I will, however, get titanfall, looks awesome :).

When was it stated? And XBO have more complex architecture.

i loved halo 4 and thought it was great, so now halo 5 will convince me to buy an xbo when its available. bring on the games M$!

I think the biggest turn around was when regular people got to play TitanFall. They seem to love it. Like a bunny rabbit on dandelion flowers, just want more and more.

The responses I am hearing about the new Kinect are really cool too. Just today a friend came over looking for something and asked, "Do you think they have (some Xmen Children of Atom) game? I said, I don't know, ask - so he did. The new Kinect, both hardware and software, are supposed to be vastly superior. While it's too bad there don't seem to be any launch games, I think its addition to the interface will be another killer app.

I wonder when we get to see Battlefield 4 running on the Xbox One.

Most of the posts have nothing to do with the article... Just saying you're still not interested in the games... That isn't what the article is even about by the way. Sad. Please, go back to your own forums and "discuss" games over there... Everything is negative with you guys when it comes to MS.. It's not getting old, it is old.

what do you think the new trendy genre will be or hope to be ????

me i'd go for hybrid gaming.... like MassEffect with RPG/TPS blending or deus ex RPG/stealth action (and I don't like stealth but I really liked that game...or survival horror/action hack'n slash...
I mean I hope for stuff that really blends several genre properly... I have been tired of stand alone genre or not satisfied as much than by blenders....
now that might be because I'm big on the sci fi genre and that has been lacking of good entries story wise this gen.....

what's your take ???

I have been thinking about that and It is hard to figure out. TPS games I think will grow but I have this feeling that the LBP/Minecraft/Spark genre might actually grow quite a bit where it becomes increasingly easier for people to create their own experiences, and enabling creations to go crossplattform... or it is just my own hopes :).
