Gamescom had a bunch of people going up against each other inlcuding two guys from IGN. Looked awesome as well as bringing some new things to the table. My guess is that Killzone SF will fall short of Titanfall but they both look really good.

do you have a link? would love to see it im certainly picking this game up, though it depends, on PC or maybe i would wait for it on PS4. but im certainly gonna get my hands on it

The video I checked in my PC... 30fps... the MP at GamesCom was confirmed running in 60fps every news site I read (GG itself confirmed via twitter).

So why did my compatriot choose this diction? If it were for sure then it would be more like: "I can confirm it will run on 60fps!"

The demos may have been 60fps, but will it pull through? Or maybe it just isn't locked to 60fps? This won't be the last time we hear about it.

When I think about best looking I have to take into context scale and scope. From the videos I have seen of KZSF, the maps look very tight a small compared to BF4. So yes, KZ can have a better sheen but then again its easier to do that with a much smaller map than something as large as BF4

BF4 just looks... boring.

As far as visuals, yes I would say that Killzone: Shadow Fall looks better than any other shooter right now. Gameplay? While Killzone looks like it's going to be a lot of fun I can't say how it will stack up. Based on what I've seen, I certainly think it has a better chance than previous titles in the franchise. However, we're talking about it going up against Call of Duty and Battlefield right out of the gate. My own personal opinion is that it will probably be more fun for me than Call of Duty but I'm just simply in love with Battlefield's gameplay.
