Plus, I think it would ignore me when I talked to it. And it's hard going backwards.

Yeah, and Ps3 still getting good exclusive games.

And that's going backwards too.

So, you are slaming Sony for still making games for their old 7th gen system?  That doesn't seem very fair.

They are still going to try to sell them for a while, plus a bunch of people aren't buying next get yet.

Why not let them have some fun?

You didn't got it at all.

I mean if you get a Ps3 (Which stills getting good exclusive games) gonna be like going backwards.

To the time when Microsoft use to do the same for 360.

I have PS2 and GC, PS3 and Wii, WiiU and PS4 by the end of this year. I'm always put Nintendo for my 1st priority that's because of Zelda series. I give ms console a chance but it didn't work (RIP X360 RROD for only 3 months)
I don't want become a hardcore or pure race fanboy, because I want to try all kind of games as I can.

Actually only recently I have started to get interested in acquiring PS1 and PS2, so I am a few years late :). Maybe my interest will grow if I have the old games. I will, however, never own a Nintendo console, that is out of the question :).

you're missing out! XD

BTW, isn't the PS2 backwards compatable? why would you need a PS1?

Well, maybe, I have tried a lot of PS games before (my brother owns a PS2), and the style doesn´t really get to me (maybe the controller is part of it?). I was and always will be a Sega fan and that style of gaming has grown on me. After Sega, MS provided me with the games I like.

I was never really sold on Shadow of the Collosus for example, I think that game is kind of boring. I do, however, admit that there are lots of games I have not tried and maybe I should give some games a second chance. And yes, I do want to own the consoles in that case, so I can play it both on the original PS1 and PS2 :).

I'll get one when the price is right for me, and that may not be until its $100 but I can wait. Because all I would play on it is  God of War 3, LittleBigPlanet, Journey, and the Last of Us. Maybe some other stuff but nothing else catches my eye on it.

I fell the same about the controler, it is not that good in my opinion. Actually, I love the 360 controler, sometimes I just hold it in my hands and it fells perfect, what a cool controler.

But I like the PS3 A LOT, play it 80% of my gaming time (5% Vita, 3% 3dS, 2% psp and 10% Xbox 360). But, in my opinion, the Xbox 360 controler is the best gaming controler ever made, until now.

It really is very comfortable but I must surrender to my inner Nintendo fanboy and go with the GameCuber controller as the best :D

Have you tried the WiiU Pro controller ? It feels almost exactly like a 360 c. , very comfortable and light and has a redicolusly long battery life...

Come to think of it: Is there a way to use a PC-360 controller with a PS3 ? That would be great !

They've had adapter type units for this for years....several years.

Oh, I understand what you mean, got it.

Not sure when I'm going to add a console, but I think the next one I get will be next gen.  I would rather spend the money  on a next gen One.

But if you want to buy me one for my Bday, that's cool bro.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

ill keep playing GT3 on my PS2

Valkyria Chronicles is a delightful experience, I highly recommend it.

im not a fanboy, even if nintendo is my favorite. The ps3 is an amazing console, i had it before but no longer have it now. I was considering getting one again but i might get a ps4 or vita (probably both) instead and play ps3 games over gaikai. Also micosoft's consoles are Ok. ive had both the Xbox and Xbox 360.

It doesn't have many games that interest me. There are only three game series that interest me in the console and, if I bought one now, I'd only play the Disgaea games and Ni no Kuni, since I have already played the Resistance series in a friend's house. So, yeah, maybe when it's priced like a PS2 I'll buy one. $200 is still too high for me.
