We can’t just flip a switch to turn off DRM. The console was built around it.

Hopefully, it will get cheap quickly to make then. Otherwise, it will not help the X1, a bit like how the expensive gamepad doesn't help the Wii U too well

Most excellent news!

Gosh, the people mad about this are probably the same ones upset that all cars are required to have working horns and windows that can roll down.



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Wellt o be honest BUSINESS wise it seems to have been an EXCELLENT idea to not iclude the camera for them. Lower price and selling the camera for what $60 which would still come out cheaper than the XB1 is pretty smart business wise.

Good I hope they stick to this and push Kinect to evole into what it set out to be! When I get my XB1 AND my PS4 next year or maybe in 2015 I want to see some great games using Kinect and using the new PS4 controller with touch pad!

I still think eventually Microsoft will sell Xbone without Kinect in the future just to sell a cheaper more appealing model.

Microsoft did say there console was based around there always online and always connected polices and look how its changed...

I would bet money it won't happen if they had vegas bets on that.....

it doesn't make any sense.... right now the only issue some people have is price.... next year why would they do a Kinect less SKU when they can just cut price and have everybody happy.... or just do another bundle with great value at no extra cost....

no kinectless SKU ever is almost guaranteed.... early price cut is more likely to happen.... but BELIEVE

this quote stil stands though.... the console is built around it so much that it will need a day one patch.... so yeah it stands.... unless there is some hidden words somewhere....
