You guys? please elaborate?

What are these posts good for when you have nothing unique to say? No offense but we heard this opinion so many times, people could at least try to say something unique.

Ps3 was 500 in europe. They never got the 20 gig model and the 60 gig was price matched

Just driving the fact home for the op so he doesnt expect too much. But im pretty sure i offered more with adding the people already looking to get one around launch now just making sure to preorder

If it's of any consolation, I have not seen any Xbox One ads in the US either.  I suspect Microsoft is more interested in advertising closer to the release than now.  Capturing the pre-release sales is one thing, capturing the holiday sales is completely different.

PS4+fifa+eyetoy/move is still cheaper than XBone+kinect+fifa ?????

I haven't checks eyetoy/move prices.... but I would expect it to be more than 40 bucks if it wants to pretend to be remotely close to even a Kinect 1 in terms of capability and API

I think it's a solid incentive, but it's not going to make a solid dent simply because it's Pre-Order only. People who want the consoles will still buy the console regardless of FIFA, and that's probably already running supply dry.

If however it was free with every copy of Xbox One going forward, then that would be a big deal.

Sony's FIFA sponsorship ends on January 1, 2014 (1 January 2014).

You can bet Microsoft is willing to throw as much money as it possibly would take to capture FIFA, and you can bet Sony likewise will do almost everything it can to secure that sponsorship as well.

That said. It's possible that this is a precursor to what might be coming. Not to get the cart before the horse, but the inclusion of FIFA 14 may be a sign that Microsoft has already secured sponsorship with FIFA.

I truly believe that it will move some casuals over to the XB1. Casuals do not do the adequate research into the actual costs of systems, they are far more easily swayed by a budnle such as this.
