It will not be a million seller... not this year

It's actually quite impressive Wii U games can get comparable FW sales with games on consoles with a much bigger audience (also Lego and Monster Hunter did around 400k). It shows the gamers really are there and waiting, but the audience it is too small (for now?).

Very good performance, better than I expected.

So... 79% hardware bump in the US, 30% in Europe, and 183% in Japan. Not bad.

Have the game and love it.

Pikmin is a lower series from Nintendo kinda like Metroid. It will do a couple million over time.

I will raise my "well" (another thread) to a very good (performance).
It didn`t brake any record for the series - i think - but after one whole generation without a mainline game behind it and given Wii U`s situation, it did pretty good.

Will it reach one million this year? Given Europe`s sales i find it hard to believe, but at the same time, this might be one of the games people will buy when getting a Wii U and their main choice game. So, it might do it if BF and Christmas go very well for Wii U!

So 95k opening in Japan, 115k in US, 28k in Europe = about 238k Global opening. Not too shabby. It's also up to about 315k total before digital if these numbers are correct.

I wouldn't exactly celebrate until we have NPD numbers though -- or, better yet, official numbers from Nintendo.

EDIT: Oh yeah, based on these numbers, I expect it to hit a million some time early next year. It'll get most of the way there with the Holiday boost, it may need the Mario Kart boost to get the rest of the way.

pretty good, there's more games on the way!

I'd wait for actual NPD numbers.

I want to say yes but Pikmen isn't a must have game even though its a great game
