Forums - Microsoft - Xbox One UI screenshots released

CVG

Microsoft has released a number of Xbox One user interface screenshots.

Among other features, they illustrate how the console's 'snap mode' allows multiple programmes to run simultaneously on the same screen. Microsoft says you can use it to jump into a multiplayer battle while watching a movie, talk with friends on Skype while watching live TV, or track your fantasy team on TV as you watch a sports game.

It looks like Windows 8... I thought Xbox supporters always declared it was bad to recylce an OS, but I guess this is okay.

You thought wrong and if you have nothing to contribute then don't bother posting at all.

Why does the third need to say the game is ready? Multiplayer match I guess?

I really like that sober interface.... do we know if we can put background pictures already ???? I like to put family pics in the BG :D

Looks really clean and simple... I am soo psyched for this console and the ability to snap things! I am using this already on W8 and it´s great :).

Yeah, I want themes, the black backdrop is too dark for me.

I saw that some days ago I guessed it was old.

Looks really like Windows 8.

I would guess that it showing a notification that the game download is complete.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Next gen systems allow you to start playing almost instantly once the download starts. There's no need/reason to wait for the full game to download before you start playing.
