X360+PS3 will sell more than 25m in 3-4 years..

They very well could but i doubt it will be a lot more than that

The Xbox market expanded greatly when they infiltrated the PlayStation market more firmly. The PlayStation 3 will still break the 100 mill mark regardless despite its slow start so its all good.

Nintendo found a place in a new market but will ultimately lose that market for good if they dont re-bundle thr Wii Mote back in the Wii U This holiday.

Sony looks to be taking back control over their market with the PlayStation 4 for the most part but i believe MS will still aggressively go after PlayStation known games and scoop them up to have exclusive just to make sure that people from the PS market buy on it so they won't get overlooked

They PS2 was at around 100m at the beginning of this gen. The extra 60m are cheap gamers and people from developing nations. We'll see how the HD twins fare from now. I'd say they'll go on to sell many more consoles. In any case, I'm pretty sure the console market has grown a lot in the West.

I just looked it up, qt this point in PS2 life (8 years) it was at 130 million, if u add the Xbox sales that equals 155 million, which is roughly what PS360 is currently at.

PS2 harbored a lot of casual gamers last gen core casual split would probably have been 60/40.

This gen, casuals probably upgraded to core gamers and adopted 360 or stuck with PS4.
