The Xbox market expanded greatly when they infiltrated the PlayStation market more firmly. The PlayStation 3 will still break the 100 mill mark regardless despite its slow start so its all good.
Nintendo found a place in a new market but will ultimately lose that market for good if they dont re-bundle thr Wii Mote back in the Wii U This holiday.
Sony looks to be taking back control over their market with the PlayStation 4 for the most part but i believe MS will still aggressively go after PlayStation known games and scoop them up to have exclusive just to make sure that people from the PS market buy on it so they won't get overlooked
