What if Nintendo and Disney made a deal and had a partnership, what do you think will come out of the deals; animated movies, animated series on the Disney Channel?

I always said, "Mario was the Mickey Mouse of gaming". I don't know, just a random thought that came to mind, while the D23 event was taking place.

I will permaban myself if the game releases in 2014.

in reference to KH3 release date

Yeah you better change the title to a "What If" as it's highly misleading otherwise.

On one hand I think Disney could help Nintendo a lot as they are a blue print of a "family company" that's very successfully broadened their demographic appeal by branching out into more risque entertainment and acquiring Marvel Comics, Lucasfilm/Star Wars, and so on.

On the other hand, Nintendo should be smart enough to be able to figure those lessons out for themselves and maintain their independence.

A console with exclusive rights to Mario, Marvel (the Avengers, Iron Man), Pixar properties, Disney properties, Star Wars games, Indiana Jones games, Zelda, Pokemon, etc. could be quite formidable though.

Especially if those Disney IP like Star Wars and Avengers were overseen or perhaps even developed by Nintendo studios (ie: a Retro Studios Avengers game).

The Wii U would get the new battlefront so im all for it

if you mean a Nintendo theme park, then yes. anything else, no.

Oh I just realize, may be a a bit on the unpopular cross over but a Mickey and Mario platformer adventure :3

I would pay to play that XD

If I'm Nintendo I'd accept a partnership with Disney under the following conditions:

- All Disney-based IP, which means Star Wars and all Marvel Comics based video games are exclusive to future Nintendo based platforms.

- Disney will work with Nintendo in providing content for their online network, leveraging brands such as ESPN, ABC, and the Disney Channel.

- A new Nintendo based attraction featuring Nintendo characters will open at all Disney theme parks at some point in the future, Nintendo's Mr. Miyamoto will oversee production of the attraction.

- Disney is forbidden to purchase shares in Nintendo, as such Nintendo is free to remain independent.

- Nintendo controls the bulk of licensing fee revenue from software sales. Disney gets a small cut and a fuller cut of Disney based properties.

- Disney gains rights to make animated TV series' and feature length movies on certain Nintendo IP pending Nintendo's approval.

Something like that, would be OK. Mickey Mouse doesn't mean much these days, however Star Wars and Avengers and Iron Man based video games could probably help Nintendo quite a bit.

BF on Wii U, so I'm in!
