Seriously, it's all just one big category, pretty much everyone looks at the 'Hot Topics' on the front page, I know this because once a thread gets pushed out, generally that's the end of it's life.

Speaking as a whiner:

I whine because sometimes I do like to just go to one forum, and don't use the hot topics and when it's cluttered with useless stuff, it plucks my nerves.

So you found this thread in the Microsoft forum right?

I don't know why people whine; but if they don't like it, report it so a mod can move it, etc, etc.

P.S.1. I only browse the 'Hot Topics' too

P.S.2. All my threads end up dying with 1 or 2 replies... could be because the subjects aren't really that interesting to you all xD
