I would have preferred if it is a 3Rd person view because some sequence made me dizzy but nonetheless I love what I saw and that Giant zombie thing is scary lol. Reminded me of one of the Titans on Shingeki no Kyojin/attack of Titan.

Around the Network

I was pretty unimpressed until night. Then I was chewing my nails lol

Get Your Portable ID!Lord of Ratchet and Clank

Duke of Playstation Plus

Warden of Platformers

Looks solid but it seems to have the problem that most zombie games are having right now. There is no fear in zombies(Or at least in the daytime). They have to bite you multiple times to kill you and your health generates etc. Zombie games need to start making zombies more fearful and make you use survivol tactics. not like ZombiU where you have to hit something 200 times either.

night looks good though. So as long as they can make you use survivol tactics at night i think it will be good.

It looks good in the video but so did Dead Island and that game was weak.

Isn't Techland the same developer who made Dead Island? So why are they making a new zombie game with a different name??

Hopefully this is more hardcore. Dead Island was dumbed down and easy.

I believe Dead Island is owned by Deep Silver and made by Techland. So techland decided (rightly) this is very risky, being a developer without your own IP is what can close a studio. I think (this is me guessing), is that there were some doubts whether DeepSilver were going to allow Techland to make Dead Island 2, and I think they have sensibly decided, lets make our own before we find that Deep Silver outsources/moves the game to another developer. They already have their own engine for open world, just improve it, make the world/story less cheesy and they will have a hit on their hands.

I would not be surprised if Dead Island 3 becomes less cheesy and more serious.

Well that's what i believe is the case :)

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

Around the Network

Looks highly meh

The running might be interesting, but the combat looks so very boring

I'll just go and play Mirror's Edge instead to get the good parts from this game

Oh yeah, that must be it! They want to be in control of an IP. Good thinking.
