is that an official bloomberg article? do they realize that the dollar price is always also the euro price for consoles? did they forget some stuff like the ~20% tax on average in europe? or that europe is a continent and there are a lot of small markets which need own advertisement and so on?

sony will probably still make more money in europe but so does microsoft, nintendo and so on...

i would say average tax in europe for those consoles is 20%. depends from country to country but i would say most have a tax between 18% and 23%

so you can say without tax ou price would be 333€ or ~445dollar. your price is 399 dollar without tax. but there are obviously also other costs for companies and these are probably higher for all the european market as only for one big market called usa.
