Sony changed the contracts to US$ to not loose money like they did with PS3 (contracts in yen)... so if the yen get strong they won't lost money.

But the yen is now weaker... so they are loosing money because that.

Ironic.

I think in the future the yen will get strong again... so it will be fine.
