Currently, Yakuza is regarded as a PS franchise even with the Wii U port. It is very fair to assume it will be PS exclusive. Even the creator of the series blew off any signs of Yakuza being multi plat when asked about Wii U version going forward. Nothing's impossible though.

Given the recent (and seemingly random) port, a Wii U game may be involved.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Tag, courtesy of fkusumot: "Why do most of the PS3 fanboys have avatars that looks totally pissed?"
"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

Some mobile crap

I'm unfamiliar with the Yakuza series, but I happened to know about the Wii U port so I wasn't sure if there was something here I was missing.

Nagoshi also pointed out that the Yakuza series was born and breed on PlayStation hardware—which is something he hasn't forgotten. "It isn't jumping ship to Nintendo hardware," he added. "Yakuza 1 & 2 are coming out on the Wii U, and this is what it is."

Yakuza HD Collection (1-4) on PS3 and due for an international release,

In this order

Yakuza Vita - A Yakuza spin off (Nagoshi want's and online Yakuza) - Yakuza 6 - Localization.

Yakuza 5 still hasn't been localized.  I want this.
