Idk I missed I on phone.

The most Sonic sold on Wii was 2m (not including Sonic & Mario Olympics) compared to 11-12m for SMG and about 40M for NSMBWii.

It's also on 3DS. I'm more and more tempted to get a 3DS due to the similar line up of games but cheaper/better library with 3DS. WiiU needs some significant system exclusives... and a price cut.

I think Sonic is gonna underperform actually. DKC: TF, NSMBU, Mario 3D World, Rayman .... too many platformers.

Sega probably would've been better off quickly releasing a new version of Sonic Racing with new tracks/characters for this holiday for Wii U to cash in on the mascot racing market again before Mario Kart 8 hits next year.

Sonic will boost sales, but I don't think it will be as much as Mario will.

Remember Sega and Nintendo still have one game in development that they haven't announced yet.  I'm crossing my fingers its a cross over between Mario Kart and Sonic All Stars Racing.  I mean what else could i be, I doubt they are making another platformer.

It looks good, I just hope sales will pick up.
