360 is doing so terribly in Japan, not because the system is too expensive, but because the Japanese don't care about it. This probably won't change a thing.

Is MS still shipping new 360 to Japan? I'm wondering if this price cut is to just get rid of all the 360 stock in Japan.

Also, since Japan isn't getting the Xbone this year maybe MS needed to lower the price to keep something of theirs selling.

It wont change a thing. If the don't want the product they just don't want it. Its too damn close to their home product and they are barely buying that as it is compared to Nintendo products. Too westernized for their tastes.
