I think FPS games are just a phase, like racing games of the 6th gen

LOL...FPS will never die down. It speaks to the heart of the western gamer. They've only grown in popularity since the late 90's.

Like racing games

GT is GT. Racing games were at their peak in the 90's.

First Person Shooters are just a phase just like puberty unnatural boners and voice cracking. When you grow up you never play again especially if you're a forumer because it not cool to shoot.

GT is GT. Racing games were at their at their best in abundance in the 90's and the early 2000's was was the point where it started dropping off the face of the earth. Westerners love guns and competition.

The highest selling Gran Turismo games were on the Ps2. The 3 highest selling Need For Speed games are on the Ps2. Now racing games barely sell as much as they used to. The same will happen with FPS games. The mass population will eventually lose interest soon enough.

I'm starting to get a little bored of games in which a gun is the only way I interact with the world.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

Yes, but I am talking about the high point for racers as a genre. Shooting and war is a cultural mainstay in America...it wont fade. Theres a literal list of all the American war games that have come out...its astonishing

This is just a list for world war two games. Look at the dates.

its only getting worse. Modern Warfare is what its all about now. Later it will be future warfare.

A nice point of view.
