Also, who thinks GTA V will beat GTA IV?

I don't think it will. Its releasing right at the end of the 7th generation so that will affect sales.

Buying yearly updates at full price is just disgusting.

Not as disgusting as worrying about how people spend their money.

People wouldn't buy annual releases if they didn't enjoy them.

You appear to be clueless about how economy works.

If people spend these money to help feeding starving nations in Africa rather than updating a bloody video game yearly, they could save the lives of thousands. And then ironically, its MY approach that is disgusting. Not surprising given you're a typical first world gamer who is either ignorant or doesnt give a damn about what's going on a few miles away.

Cheers.

Although it is sad. It is hard to find a decent place that gives all of your money to supporting what they say they are going to support. A lot of places only take 10-15% of what you donate to give to these starving people.

And on another note it is sad that even in USA their are starving people that people could help.

Is starvation really a problem in the US? Its generally just called a hunger problem or food insecurity. There are over 47 million people collecting food stamps. So plenty of money goes into keeping people from starving.

I do not actually know full details. I just hear promotions for it even though it is worse in African countries. I think I heard somewhere that 1/3 of all college students in US do not get enough food and starving children even though we getting obese.

As more Years go by, it gets more stupid to do the whole "so many games in the Top 10 are FPS!" argument.

When the biggest game on the planet releases Yearly, then that said series will dominate sales lists. 5 out of those 6 games on PS3 are Call of Duty games. 5 out of the 8 on 360 are Call of Duty games.

Instead of simply doing the Top 10, it should be the Top 10 franchises.

Eh, if anything, annual releases should squeeze a franchise out of the top ten as enthusiasts are spread across multiple teleases and fatigue sets in. Like how Guitar Hero/Rock Band got milked out of existence. The fact that shooter franchises generate megahits year after year reinforces their dominance, not the opposite.
