Nintendo should spend $100 million and expect 20 million+ sales for Wii U Zelda?

is nintendo direct the new nintendo power? think about it. nintendo power gave nintendo the marketing they needed untill the internet came in of age. That's about the same time nintendo's image became mishandled by main stream media. Now nintendo is handling there own image and marketing again with nintendo direct.

Dude....you're expecting too much from Nintendo.. The only reason Nintendo got sales that high was because of bundles. Second of all, you don't need on hundred million too make a game like that. Witcher 3 is being made by a relatively small team and the graphics are better than that and the gameplay as well being an Action/RPG. One hundred million dollars is in Halo 4 Territory. It was more production value if you think about it. Nintendo would balance it out and you know it, but yes, that picture is what they sold. If we do not get that they are no better than Sony when Sony made the Killzone tech demo that was pretty much a CG movie and they told us that was what the game would be like on the PS3. It was close enough, but not there. KZ4 will be in game as good as a CG movie though.

Nintendo power was leagues better than Direct is and no...I highly doubt it was responsible for Nintendos sales.

But Nintendo Direct is freeeeeeeeeee.  

Nintendo Power was one of my top three subscriptions as a child.  I got the best  tips & tricks and high quality articles on upcoming games. You would cringe waiting knowing which games were going to be next and once the next issue was teased you were waiting for the next copy during the N64 era. Nintendo Power helped me get away with murder on Star Fox 64.

I hope that they will finally be able to sell me on Super Mario 3D World, cause so far this game is really low on my esteem (unoriginal cheap cash grab focused on chaotic unplayable multiplayer and a unimpressive cat suit as their only 2 new gimmicks to make it feel ''new'', needless to say failing at so. IMO)

I also hope for a Smash character confirmation. They could easely confirm a character once a month to keep the smash talk active. And I did'nt use the words ''new characters''. They can simply confirm returning characters like they did with Olimar a few weeks ago. I'd love to know if Toon Link is coming back, same thing with many characters. Hell, Yoshi is still not confirmed to be in the game... Is Yoshi in the game? DUHH! But a confirmation accompanied by a nice screenshot and a few information about what's new with him would be nice.

But I srsly expect it to be super boring.

-Some Pokémon
-Some Mario Party

Personally, I'm interested in alot of these games, but I don't want to hear anymore from any of them. I don't expect more... Some talk about the summer update if we are lucky, and some boring shit from already released games like a reminder for Pikmin 3 and those street pass games if we are unlucky :(
