This is a non issue and plays absolutely no part in the ultimate success or failure of the wii u.
If the wii u sales pick up impressively this factory closure doesn't matter. Actually in can even keep the factory open with negotiations or use someone else as was earlier implied they have already done.
If the wii u sales remain flat it still doesn't matter. It will be the same as now.
They already found a replacement, it's TMSC.

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)
This was a non-issue from the beginning. Either Nintendo would just drop them, or in those 2-3 years the Wii U would actually become useful and make some money so it won't close those factories.

I like the implication that Nintendo is the only one hurt by this when its 1 out of 4 being closed. The company obviously had other issue other than not making money off Nintendo as many want to imply and in 2 years they can easily find another maker..
Just seems like something trivial the Nintendo haters want to make into something big.

Then use that wifi HDMI... O_O

Pretty sure Nintendo like other companies can probably just have someone else make their memory chipsets. In 2-3 years probably for a cheaper price and that will fit their eventual Wii U redesign or successor.
