its all equal. People just need to grow thicker skin and quit bitching about being called a slur

I don't know about you, but I can't choose to get a boner when I see a guy or a girl. Nor can I pick a new favorite color or start liking the taste of octopus on demand.

I was about to say that.  You can't really choose what ethnic group you are born into.  And same with sexual preference, I don't think people choose to be gay.

I think 'you fking muslim or nigger' are the only groups (here) that will try to kill you over it. So I wouldn't say them (pubicly).

I notice that it are mainly americans that bring this up. Is this really that of a big deal there?

Personally, I and like 85% of people I know couldn't care less to use those words or getting 'insulted' by words like that...

None are acceptable, but I think racial slurs are the worst, because clearly you have no control over skin colour.

And I know someone is going to say sexual preference isn't a choice either, but at least you can choose not to act in what I'll call the "stereotypically gay manner" (no offence is intended here, I promise). By that i mean talking with the lisp, dressing flamboyantly, walking like you have a stick up your arse, etc. Doing these things is what gets you called gay or "f****t" by the assholes who would choose to call someone that. If you're gay and don't want to be called these slurs then go ahead and wear fucking jeans and a tshirt, talk normally, and walk normally. But on the other hand any asshole could call a black guy the n-word whether he's in a suit & tie or dressed like a gangster. So that's my reasoning for why racial slurs are worse than homosexual slurs.

Ethnic slurs are bad too, religious and non-religious people should all just get along.

Being a bigot whether it pertains to race, ethnicity, sex, or sexual orientation is for all intents and purposes the same.

Personally, I think it would be nice to live in a world where none of the above even mattered to anyone, but we're human.
