Nier soundtrack is amazing, and game is a pure gem that a lot gamers have missed.

I'll give a couple of shoutouts to some old SEGA games!

First up: Sonic 3D Blast for the Genesis.  A couple of songs from this game have gotten remixes in later Sonic games, but even the ones that didn't are pretty darn good.  For example:

Gene Gadget Act 1

Then there's the soundtrack from one of my favorite games of all time, Skies of Arcadia for the Dreamcast.  The upbeat tone of the music perfectly complements the sense of wonder, curiosity, and exploration that is at the heart of this magnificent JRPG.

Here's the theme for the Little Jack, one of the ships you command during your adventure:

oh man one of the absolute best tracks from sonic 3d imo has to be that intro

http://youtu.be/qvbIl-BQS3M?t=35s this music blew me away was awesome and fast paced gets you right in the mood for a great game.... okie then sonic 3d itself sucked dicks compared to the other megadrive offerings but still when I heard this again in Sonic Adventure it was absolute nostalgia overload
