Or better yet, Wii Too! :L

Nintendo should buy Sega and make a new console. Not a Super Nintendo. Not a Mega Drive. But a Mega Nintendo! Oh yeah!

Wii U name and the design of the Wii U (look wise) are poor. It shouldn't look so similar to the existing Wii from the front.
You're not going to mistake this:

for this:

Or this

Or this

The Wii U and Wii look way too similar.

I know Apple gets away with it, but they're Apple. The audience is highly motivated to find out what the new iPhone is to stay in the loop. Other companies have to work to get their message across.

You're spot on.
What they thought would be an advantage has turned out to be quite the obstacle...big mistake making the Wii U look so similar to the Wii, especially when their marketing seems completely inept.
I'll never understand why they named it Wii U.....god what were they thinking and it look so similar to.
I would of kept the Wii the same and for a new console, aim for Xbox and Sony audiences. :/

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen. By: Suke |
It's just an error and can be corrected.
The difference between Nintendo's naming their consoles and both Sony and MS is that their systems have a brand name. Playstation and xbox.
Nintendo has always had a totally unique name for their latest systems. N64, Gamecube and Wii.
I like this and really hope they would have continued this way. Be different from the rest.
Nintendo have a far larger casual market than it's rivals and any naming confusion should have been kept to a minimum or totally avoided.
I said it before and I will say it again. There were many people that ask me about the wii u as a christmas gift last year and many thought the wii u was simply a tablet to addon to the original wii.
Somewhere something went wrong.
Nintendo really should have called it the wii too or wii 2, cant believe they thought the wii u was a good name
It's quite possibly the worst name in video game history, along side the vita, xbox one and atari jaguar lol
Let's blame Nintendo for the stupidity of the world. The 3DS also shouldn't have looked like a DS Lite... (nope)
