(cos this year i also bough a ps3, last year i bough a 3DS, previous year a wii, and previously a DS, i cant handle more than 1 console per year)

You hate fanwars? This is news!!!! Mind blown.
OT: I find that owning multiple consoles is not needed until really late in a gen due to the huge similarities between Sony and MS consoles. I will skip the Wii U for sure this time until really late. The PS4 will get most games the xbone gets so I doubt I will buy it anytime soon.
Each gen is pretty long so it is hard to know what and when I buy the other consoles.

Your wall is blocked. Why would you even respond to this with such an answer. Audios.

Owned this gen a ps3 and 360, so judging by this current gen, I will go with ps4 at the start of next gen. Sony has served me better than Microsoft so I would play it safe this time, instead of going Microsoft first like I did this current gen. Maybe I will buy a xbox one eventually down the line, maybe not.
I will get a ps4 at launch. Xbox one, not really sure, a couple years down the line unless I really want to play the exclusives. It still won't be until a price drop to make it around $300-400. The wii u will be a couple years too, price drop to $150-200 with games. I guess the latter 2 depends on if the games appeal enough to me. This gen I owned all three, not sure about next gen.

There's nothing wrong with having a favorite. Everyone has one. I think people fight a little TOO passionately for their chosen fanboy subjects, but it's a regularly accepted social phenomenon: People fight for what they like. Hell, even people on our review team have favorites. We're professional and don't let bias get in the way, but there are definitely "PS3 guys" and "Nintendo guys" and "Xbox guys".
As for me, I've got a WiiU and have a PS4 on order. why? Well, there's really not a whole lot of anything on the Xbox One I actually want. It may end up with a few games I need/want, but the last two generations have taught me that Nintendo First PArty titles ARE worth the price of Nintendo Consoles, and the sony consoles have ALL of the multiplatform games, and a much stronger and more impressive exclusive list than Microsoft ever has. In fact, Microsoft's variety is anemic when it comes to exclusives. Shooters, racers, and a few errant games in other genres. Not much. Plus, Xbox Live Gold isn't worth it, and I already have PSN Plus; I know you need PSN+ to play online now, so that's not really an arguing point in favor of sony anymore, but even without that caveat, PSN+ is cheaper and offers so very, very much more than Xbox Live Gold. I'd be willing to pay for it regardless.
I don't like Microsoft's business practices. I know that's petty, but it's true. the very fact that they hide dozens of Xbox features behind a paywall (effectively making the system subscription based AFTER charging 100 dollars more for it straight up) bothers the hell out of me. IF you don't get PSN+, you miss out on online play, but you have access to ALL The other features.
Oh, and Kinect. I own a Kinect, but I've only ever turned it on maybe a dozen times total. the technology is great, but there's absolutely nothing outside of Dance Central worth playing on it. The fact that Kinect 2.0 is required and mandatory annoys the shit out of me.
In summation: Not planning on getting an Xbox One any time soon. Don't like kinect, Xbox Live Gold isn't worth it, and the PS4 offers all the console gaming I need at a lower price without the bullshit.
That said, I'd be willing to give them a shot in the future. I don't hate them, I just don't see enough good in the system yet to overcome the bad.
