This is wrong. What we were shown at E3 was in game footage mixed CGI. You cannot relate the 2. When FF13 series was revealed none of the games were in actual development. That's the polar opposite 15 which has been in development years.

final fantasy couldn't be dead! i just played final fantasy v yesterday in fact.

Dead, i don't know, but it definitely regressed this generation, ff14 will flop due to it's monthly fees, the game might be very good but it is too little too late. Hopefully ff15 will bring back the series, the game looks amazing.

Did anyone doubt that they touched it up a bit? Everything we saw will likely be done in the game in some way, shape, or form.

There is no "FFXV". It's FFXIII Versus with a new title, because they're too cheap/lazy to make an ACTUAL FFXV.

That comment was just illogical. SInce they're going to make FFXVI eventually which would have been FFXV. They're just separating it from the FFXIII brand.

I'm hopeful that Nomura's team actually might rectify the situation to some degree, but I'm not sold on the gameplay yet.
