As of now Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon sales have reached over 2 billion.... (O.o) Okay well 2 million within 3 months on the market, stayed in the top 5 for thirteen weeks straight and has yet to see a holiday (We all kno Nintendo games get a nice boost from Christmas, dont ARGUE) and is currently at 2.22mil!!! My Question is can this be over 5Million sales lifetime? The absolute minimum i see for this game is 3.5mil but i think it can do just beneath that by years end. WHats your take>>>?

i think it can reach 5 million, if it can reach 3.5 million by early dec. If not then it will be tough, unless it gets bundled with a 3ds xl at some point, which i think is a possibility this holiday.

its already at 2.2mil, its doing above of 40k a week, next 3 months (before Nov hits) even if it does 30k a week will be over 2.6mil. Think you need to bump your prediction way up cuz come holiday its bound to do over 300k alone :)

I'm not sure if it can hit 5 mil - maybe 4 mil but isnt the demand getting smaller and smaller?

demand? after 4 months of a ww release its still selling over 40k a week! like i said its going to be over 3mil by end of this year alone. I mean nintendo games 1st christmas are always huge, before we even get to november i expect to see at least 300k sales so it be over 2.5mil, then Nov+Dec it should have another 400-500k sales making it over 3mil! For lifetime i see no less than 4mil due to nintendo's legs and this is luigi (brother of Biggest Legs Titles), he'll do a hella lot :)

We'll see how holidays work for this game, for now I say it'll at least beat the original's 3.6m. If the holidays turn out to be good, then it can creep up to your number, but only at the very end of the 3DS's life.
