I can still cancel the order. It hasn't been fully processed yet. Lemme see what I find, as I never really thought about the dual gpu solution down the road.

Yeah...You have everything needed to support this, other than the PSU. You would want a 750-800W PSU that has 4 6 pin PCIe connectors...

Is this a good one? Its crazy on sale too...$49.99 after rebates.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

So so...

Try this one -

Its modular + it's OCZ which now owns Power PC & Cooling who make great PSU's.

Its also $59 if you apply the promo code and rebate...

That'll work. Thanks for the suggestion. I kinda woulda been out of luck the other way.

Cool glad to help... :)

Ironically enough, cancelling the order wound up so I'm now getting the MSI 7870 for $166 and it comes with a free copy of Crysis 3.

Total cost is about $750, not too shabby if you ask me.

Yeah pretty great ptice for all that stuff.

240 GB SSD, Crossfire enabled motherboard and PSU, 7870, 6 core CPU...all quality stuff.

People may say AMD 8 core would have been better, and it is, but not for what you want to do from the sound of things. Upcoming Battlefield 4 uses 6 CPU cores max btw and you will see how much CPU overhead you have for well optimized games like this.  You CPU will be utilized 30-40% while your GPU is spiking at 100%...

What case did you end up getting?

That is a very nice well balanced build, I like that case too - makes me jelly although I don't game on the pc much anymore.

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

I did wind up going with the cheap case. With that, I'd rather do $35 now, and upgrade to a much more expensive case down the road, since this will at least do the job.
